The Questions We Get Asked the Most
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
No appointment is needed. You are welcome to drop in during our opening hours and browse at your own pace. If you would like dedicated time with one of our team to discuss a specific project, it is worth calling ahead so we can make sure the right person is available.
Can I take samples home with me?
Yes. Samples are available for most materials and we actively encourage you to take them home. The best way to assess whether a stone works in your kitchen is to see it in your own light at different times of day before you commit.
What should I bring to the showroom?
Anything that helps us understand your kitchen. A cabinet door, a tile sample, a paint colour or simply your kitchen dimensions all make the conversation significantly more productive. Even a photo on your phone of the current kitchen gives us a useful starting point.
Do you cover my area?
We supply and install across Manchester and the wider North West, including Leigh, Wigan, Warrington, Bolton, Salford, Rochdale, Whitefield, Heywood and many surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether we cover your postcode, give us a call and we will confirm straight away.
What is the difference between quartz and granite?
Granite is a natural stone quarried from the earth. Every slab is unique, with patterns formed over millions of years. It requires periodic sealing and is heat and scratch resistant. Quartz is an engineered stone, composed of around 90 per cent crushed quartz bound with resin. It is non-porous, requires no sealing and is available in a much wider range of colours. Both are excellent choices depending on your priorities. Our team can walk you through the pros and cons of each in person.
How long from showroom visit to completed installation?
Most customers move from showroom visit to completed installation within two to four weeks. Once you have confirmed your choice and we have completed your digital template, fabrication and scheduling are relatively swift. Most installations are completed in a single day.
Can you remove my old worktop as part of the service?
Yes. Removal of old worktops is something we can take care of as part of the installation process. Just let us know when you enquire and we will factor it into the planning.
